Today is an incredibly special day where all over the world people are calling for recognition of the contributions of women and the amplification of our voices.

Given the historical oppression and marginalization of women across time and space, the journey to bring balance will be a long one but not a journey traveled alone anymore.

To celebrate, I plan to tell our daughter SRW the story of Empress Wu Zetian.  The only woman to ever single-handedly run China, during the Tang Dynasty.  A incredible story to confirm her suspicions on how truly powerful women can be.
