Last week I got together with a good friend and fellow educator for some well needed blogging inspiration. We met up at Starbuck with our blogging essentials (my Canon SLR, my MacBook Air, and two venti green teas). Joanne, many of you may already know, is a very talented educator who has dedicated herself to designing spaces that inspire inquiry-based learning and creative innovation for young learners. She is currently studying at York University, as a part-time PhD student, and regularly presents at academic conferences as well as a variety of other professional learning events across Ontario and beyond.
Even with her crazy busy schedule we made time to meet for a collaborative session. We chatted about fashion and style, inquiry and synergy, and our common love of the holidays over some tea on a chilly windy day. Joanne wore black and white with just a splash of purple, simple and elegant, which created the perfect juxtaposition to my vibrant yellow coat and floral brocade skirt. Had a blast and can’t wait to do it again soon.
On Joanne: Club Monaco winter white coat, Kate Spade purple patent cross body bag hat and shoes, Tiffany & Co and Swarovski arm swag
On Me: Zara Yellow faux fur coat, J.Crew brocade skirt and jean shirt, Rebecca Minkoff bag, Pura Lopez green bow pumps.
