It is after receiving honest criticism and a bit of harsh cynicism that I write this post and it’s very appropriately titled “Messy hair in my face, off the shoulder vest.” Felt very pleased with myself after spending a good 2 hours posing, for the most part, very awkwardly for photos of my first outfits. As I shared my work with my brother (note to self: don’t do that again ) he, without hesitation bashed all and every design element that the photo claimed to have. Followed by a girlfriend that said “ HaHa Penn, nice try, good effort.” Lol, so it really goes to show style, like beauty, really does reside in different ideas to different people. Anyways, was in love with this Helmut Lang vest that very strategically (obviously perhaps only in my opinion) adds an element of edge, paired with a pair of Acne clouts (shorts version). Had to cut the sleeves off my fave t-shirt so that my arms didn’t look like bursting sausages. Hmmm not bad… saved it from my “OMG nothing fits!” pile of clothes.
